Disabled Access to Our School

We strive to ensure all pupils, parents and visitors can access the site to fully participate in school life. 

At GCMS:

• we have several designated wider car parking spaces inside the staff car park for disabled visitors
• we have a predominantly single storey, wheelchair accessible, building with lift access to the rooms on the first floor of the atrium. We have an evac + chair and emergency assistance call point on the first floor to assist individuals with mobility issues during an evacuation situation. 
• we have comfortable seating in reception areas
• we have accessible toilet facilities
• we have a hearing induction loop system in our school hall and at our main school reception hatch
• disabled parents or carers may reserve space/seats at all of our events.
