Parent Consultations

Parent consultation evenings provide you with an invaluable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress with their subject teachers or to receive pastoral feedback depending on the type of consultation event.

GCMS currently uses the School Cloud system for parents to book consultation appointments. A link to School Cloud can be found at the top of the each page on our website.

Academic Consultation Events

When an academic consultation date is scheduled and set up, you will be emailed instructions on how to log into the School Cloud website and book appointments with up to five of your child's teachers. Each appointment will last up to five minutes in length. Unless you are informed otherwise, the appointments are face to face and are held at our school.

If you are unable to attend your child's scheduled consultation evening, please still log into the School Cloud system and click the option to decline the invitation. This action will then inform the school of your intended non-attendance. 

 Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time as high demand may mean that we are unable to rearrange a missed appointment on the same day. 

If, after your appointment has ended you need to discuss your child's progress further with a particular teacher, please email admin@gosforthcent.newcastle.sch.uk and we will forward your request across to the teacher who will contact you to arrange a further discussion at a time that is mutually convenient.
