Gosforth Central School Day
Our school opens at 8.30am - for the safety of your child please ensure they do not arrive before this time unless attending a morning extra curricular club; they should enter through the main entrance in this instance.
Parking on Christon Road is limited and the area around the school is marked by double yellow lines. Please be aware that this is frequently policed therefore, if you are dropping your child off by car please do so via the drop off zone within the school one way system.
In order to ensure the safety of pupils exiting the site at the end of the day by foot, the school gates will be closed between 3.00pm and 3.30pm. Pupils can be picked up from the school drop off zone after this time.
School Day
Our school day is 6.5 hours, and therefore the school meets the statutory requirements for the length of the school week of 32.5 hours.
