School Lunches
Our catering provider is Newcastle City Council.
In response to parent and carer feedback, we have implemented a fixed price menu for school meals to help parents to manage the amount of money being spent each lunchtime.
Your child will have a choice of five set meal options to choose from, and each meal is a fixed cost of £2.30.
There is a selection of snacks and drinks available to buy at break and lunchtimes (see below)
All children will have access to drinking water, free of charge, from the water fountains in the dining hall.
We are confident that our system will make our lunchtime offer more inclusive and accessible to all pupils, and more easily understood by parents and carers. We will continue to review the offer and welcome your feedback to admin@gosforthcent.newcastle.sch.uk

Halal Meals
Regrettably, due to space limitations for storage, preparation, and service of school meals we are unable to offer halal menu choices. We try to offer a wide variety of meals including vegetarian meal options, however, due to the space limitations on the catering service we cannot provide sufficient dedicated space to offer halal meals.
Lunchtime Rota and Menus
The menu is rotated on a three week cycle and the sittings in the dining hall rotate as follows:
