Mrs Jobling

“The staff were yelling at us!”

Mrs Jobling (unknown age) has been fortunate enough to receive the luxury treatment of interviewing by some of our reporters. Throughout the interview, shocking truths were unearthed and incredible revelations discovered. These are facts previously never before known to mankind.

What's your favourite childhood memory?

Nearly missing the tour boat in Greece because my sister, father and I wanted to swim out to he boat - rather than walk and go via the jetty. The staff and tourists were yelling and laughing at us as we nearly missed it! It was a longer swim than we though LOL!

What the naughtiest thing you did at school?

In year 12 I drove to a netball match in my very old (very small) mini metro with the full team inside it. (7 girls!) Some in the footwells, girls lying over each other undercoats, and one girl in my boot! We passed a police car and were hysterical that we got away with it! We won against Westfield girls so it was all worth it!

Did you have any pets as a child?

A dog named Susie - She once tried to chase a cat whilst on holiday and a caravan and nearly hung herself as she was tied up and she jumped out of the caravan window! She was crackers!

A bartender when I was studying for my A-Levels

If you were an animal what animal would you be and why?

A cat - I am always freezing and love to be in front of the fire curled up reading or watching films.

What advice would you give yourself at middle school age?

Don't sweat the small stuff and worry about sticking to what you know - Get involved in everything you can to do with school and your community -  meet as many different types of people as you can. It's a big world out there!

What superhero power would you like?

Teleportation - I'm often late!

What would your autobiography be called?

Without Art the Earth is Eh!

Name one thing that will make compulsory in school and one thing you will ban.

Mrs Wilson

“Old gentlemen gave me their false teeth!”

Mrs Wilson (unknown age) has been fortunate enough to receive the luxury treatment of interviewing by some of our reporters. Throughout the interview, shocking truths were unearthed and incredible revelations discovered. These are facts previously never before known to mankind.

What's your favourite childhood memory?

My favourite childhood memory would be family holidays. In those days we didn’t have holidays abroad - no aeroplanes for me! We would go to the borders of Scotland and swim in the River Tweed. I used to swim across with my armbands on from one side of the river to the other in an inflatable log with my dad and climb out on the Scottish side. It was a little bit dangerous, but we survived.

Did you have any pets as a child?

Lots! I had mice, a parrot, a snake, a dog, cats and fish. Lots of mice, though. The dog was a Labrador Retriever. After that, I had a Yorkshire terrier and then another Labrador called Ben.

What was your first job?

My first job was selling newspapers in hospital. I would go round the wards and shout "Chronicle!" and old gentlemen would give me their false teeth instead of money for a laugh. It wasn’t very nice.

What could three things not live without?

Animals, theatre and being outdoors.

If you were an animal, what animal would you be?

A horse; they’re beautiful. I love them and always wanted one, but was never allowed one as they’re very expensive. One day I will get one!

What advice would give yourself at a Middle School age?

Most of the stuff you worry about is not important, be kind and do the things you are frightened to do. If you are shy, just do it, it will be fine.

What superhero power would you like?

Flying.

What would be your autobiography called?

Stop worrying, it will be fine.

Name one thing that you would make compulsory at school and one thing you would ban.

I would ban homework, and I would make it compulsory to spend time in the day following something that is your dream. For example, you might do a sport, go work with animal, or even go horse riding. I would have from 1PM to 5PM one day every week, to do something like that off-timetable.

Describe the best sandwich in the world.

Cheese pasty from Greggs, easy!

Thank you, Mrs Wilson!
